In-Studio Requirements
**New Vaccine Policy. Starting in January 2022 Voice Trax West will be requiring all talent and visitors to be fully vaccinated. Please come prepared to show proof of vaccination. This is in addition to all other policies which remain unchanged.
Masks are required to be worn upon entry and anytime outside of the recording booth for both staff and visitors.
Social distancing while in-studio is enforced and encouraged using floor signs marking proper separation throughout the studio.
Studio Procedures
Hand sanitizer is available throughout the studio including an entry station that has hand-sanitizer, extra masks, disposable gloves, and facial tissue.
Front door will be kept locked to the general public and only persons with appointments will be admitted.
Sessions will be spaced out to allow time for cleaning and for the booths to have down time between being occupied. Minimum time between sessions will be 30 minutes. Consideration for being the first session of the day or additional booth downtime is available upon request.
A UV sanitizing box is being used to sanitize headphones after each use. In addition we are also wiping down headphones before being used with disinfectant wipes.
HEPA filters have been placed in each recording booth and will be run after each session for minimum 15 minutes. ( See Cleaning Products page for details on which products we are using )
Only engineer and talent will be present for each session. Exceptions are parents/guardians who may be in the booth with the child.
Mics are adjusted by the engineer prior to performers entering the booth.
Any employee who can carry out their work duties from home has been directed to do so.
All employees have been told not to come to work if they have symptoms consistent with COVID-19,have tested positive for COVID-19 or have been in contact with a case of COVID-19 and to follow Department of Health guidance for self-isolation or quarantine as applicable.
ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS:
We encourage everyone to bring their own headphones. All sessions using a remote director will require headphones. However, we will have headphones available. We are using only headphones that use vinyl ear pads. These will be sanitized after each use in addition to being placed in a UV sanitizing light box
In addition it is advised to bring your own pen and pencils, binder clips or other items you might normally use as well as snacks, lunch for a long day, and/or tea bags to make tea. We will have some of these items, but the use of your own personal items will be encouraged where possible.
