ABOUT MATTHEW:
MATTHEW FLOYD MILLER has been acting with accents since he was a kid, and teaching accents for the past five years. He served as dialect coach for Once, the musical (Rubicon Theatre); The Children, Alice- Formerly of Wonderland, Dracula, a Comedy of Terrors, (Ensemble Theatre Co., Santa Barbara); and Holmes & Watson (Laguna Playhouse). Most recently he coached actor Katherine La Nasa with her Pittsburgh accent for her role in The Pitt (HBO-Max) starring Noah Wylie. As an actor he’s performed with a wide variety of accents himself: Standard British, Scottish, German, Russian, Israeli, New York ‘Brooklynese’ and variety of American southern, to name a handful. In fact, he’s only acted with his own accent for fifty percent of his career. Acting credits include: Broadway: The Cottage, starring Eric McCormack (Helen Hayes Theatre); Not About Nightingales, directed by Trevor Nunn (Circle in the Square); and The Invention of Love, (Lincoln Center Theatre).
