Breathing Characters to Life Workshop with Sirena Irwin and Special Guest Catie Leorisa
From refining characters you know to breathing characters to life yet undiscovered!
For 4 Saturdays Sirena will focus on adding new characters to your toolbox. This workshop will begin by helping you to refine characters you already have at the ready and then will explore how - through breath, body awareness, and emotional truth - you can unlock new pathways into further character creation.
When you are able to bring multiple characters to life with creativity, believability and reliability, your employment opportunities grow exponentially.
Sirena Irwin, Emmy™ nominated Voice Director, with very special guest, Catie LeOrisa, founder of Resonance Restructure, will guide actors in finding exciting and original voices by breathing them to life.
You will be working in studio, behind the mic but ALSO you will spend time off-mic to find those new voices within.
When we introduce the breath work , it’s focus will begin with self-discovery and move to character-discovery bringing you through the investigation of your characters. Once discovered, we will look to refine them so they can be integrated reliably into your work.

Sirena has directed 600+ episodes of animated content for Dreamworks , Nickelodeon, Warner Bros., Cartoon Network, Titmouse, Disney, etc. She has cast over 200+ episodes. In addition to directing and casting, Sirena is an actor and has lent her voice to Spongebob Squarepants (100s of voices since 1999), Batman, Stripperella, Blizzard video games and more. She also travelled the U.S. and Canada for 2 years (550 performances) in the role of Lucy in “I Love Lucy Live on Stage.” She has a deep appreciation and respect for the artists, writers, producers, directors, actors, technicians, musicians, etc. that bring animation and ART to life. In 2021 she was Emmy® nominated for Voice Direction.
Catie, has worked with Larry Moss, acting coach, director and author for nearly 25 years and is also the owner and founder of Resonance Restructure. She is a Certified Hypnotherapist, NeuroDynamic Breathwork facilitator, a Reiki Master Usui and Holy Fire and a Practitioner of Reiki using SPHPH – Source Point High Priestess Healing – Energetic Quantum Acupuncture, Level II. She holds a Bachelors and Masters in Metaphysics and is currently undertaking a PhD in Metaphysical Science. She offers sessions in NeuroDynamic Breathwork for Healing, an Active Meditation and Breathing tool used to take the mind into releasing heavy emotions, grief, and fear leading you to find joy and bliss while connecting to your inner guidance and tuning into your heart’s wisdom. Reiki with SPHPH acupuncture (no needles) will be used during breathwork and meditations to assist in grounding.
